When our coach asked the girls at Cassady Elementary who wanted to join a soccer team - with their own uniforms and an F3 coach - every single hand went up.

None of the girls reported currently playing on an organized soccer team.

This fall, 19 girls signed up for Final Third Foundation’s all-girls Soccer & Literacy program at Cassady Elementary in Columbus, Ohio. In our traditional co-ed after-school programs, we have often seen only one or two girls enroll. Creating a program specifically for girls has opened the door to much greater participation.

Now, we want to build on that enthusiasm.

This Giving Tuesday, help us raise $5,000 to expand their opportunities.

Your contribution will help us:

• Expand spring programming to twice per week, combining Soccer & Literacy with additional soccer practice and health and nutrition education.

• Establish a Cassady girls soccer team, providing coaching and uniforms as we prepare the girls for recreational league participation.

• Reduce financial barriers, helping these girls continue developing their skills, confidence, and friendships.

A pathway beyond the school year

We have already secured funding for these girls to attend our six-week Soccer, Wellness & Education summer camp if they choose to enroll. Your Giving Tuesday gift will help strengthen the spring programming that leads into that opportunity.

This is F3’s whole-child approach in action: using soccer to connect children with literacy, wellness, and a sense of belonging.

Every hand went up. Help us take the next step.

Give today and help build a team these girls can call their own.
