Find Your People: A Community Join Fair

Come for the film, stay to find your people.

On Tuesday, November 10, 2026, People for Planet and Democracy will bring the community together at the Garde Arts Center for the first Find Your People: A Community Join Fair.

The evening will begin with a screening of Join or Die, a documentary about the importance of community, connection, and participation. After the film, attendees will have the opportunity to meet local groups and discover ways to become more involved in the places they call home.

Find Your People is designed around a simple idea: stronger communities are built when people know one another, participate, and have places where they belong.

This will not be a traditional vendor or nonprofit fair. We are creating a welcoming space where people can discover organizations and groups they can actually join, volunteer with, participate in, or become part of—from service clubs and volunteer fire departments to town committees, recreation groups, hobby clubs, neighborhood organizations, community associations, and many others.
