Every year, we run across America to raise awareness and rally support to help stop multiple sclerosis (MS). Now, as our final 2026 Ultra Relay runner brings the miles into New York City, we invite you to be part of the finish.

MS Run the US began with one epic run across America. On March 22, 2010, Ashley Schneider began her run across America from San Francisco, in honor of her mother who was living with MS. She ran 24 miles a day, six days a week, for six months—building the nonprofit and raising funds along the way. When she crossed the finish line in New York City on September 28, 2010, Ashley became the 16th woman in history to run across the country. Today, she continues to lead the organization with the same passion and purpose.
