We're Fully Funded! 🥳
The Firestorm Collective jumping for joy

It's not every day that 450+ people show up to help your queer feminist collective make a big leap. It's been stunning and humbling to watch our campaign climb towards its $50k goal and realize that behind every contribution is someone who cares deeply about creating space for book lovers and troublemakers 😭

From this point forward, our updates will be shared on social media (including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) and via our semimonthly newsletter—so if you want to see renovation photos or progress reports from 1022 Haywood Road, please make sure to connect with us on those platforms.

To everyone who donated, we deeply appreciate you! Big thanks to our friends at Pansy Collective, the musicians who lent their talent to our benefit party, and the many artists and shops that generously contributed raffle prizes.

It is a basic principal of Anarchism that we advance our pursuit of justice and equality by supporting the institutions that embody our vision of the global transformation we seek. How we spend our money matters! Firestorm belongs in the future I am working for. The books they sell offer essential inspiration, unfettered knowledge, critical insights and much needed succor to those on the front line of the fight for the world we (as in all life) deserve.
