Aurora means dawn—the beginning of a new day and the hope of what comes next. At Aurora Freedom, we believe healing from human trafficking can begin the same way: with caring people who show up, build trust, and stay.

Aurora has begun providing specialized, community-based services for survivors of human trafficking and exploitation, including survivor peer mentorship, therapeutic support, and care coordination. Since announcing our services, we've already received more than a dozen referrals. Survivors are reaching out, and we are building the capacity to respond.

We invite you to be part of this beginning.

Join the First Light Circle - Become a Founding Sponsor

Our goal is to raise $50,000 by December 1, 2026, to expand Aurora's specialized survivor services while building the staffing, infrastructure, and sustainable funding systems needed to support them for years to come.

The First Light Circle permanently recognizes the individuals, families, businesses, and community partners who invest in Aurora during this foundational season.

Founding Sponsor recognition begins with gifts of $1,000. Sponsors may also choose to remain anonymous.

Founding Sponsor Giving Levels

$1,000 — First Light Member

Provides a month of comprehensive survivor support, including therapy, peer mentorship, and individualized care coordination.

$2,500 — First Light Partner

Extends access to specialized services over multiple months, supporting consistent relationships and continuity of care.

$5,000 — First Light Leader

Strengthens the staffing, coordination, and program infrastructure needed to provide consistent, specialized survivor services.

$10,000+ — First Light Visionary

Invests in living-wage employment for survivor leaders, creating opportunities to use their lived experience and professional expertise to support others.

Gifts of any amount are welcome and help make this work possible.

Building Support That Lasts

Beyond expanding services today, First Light funding will help Aurora strengthen the clinical and administrative systems needed to pursue sustainable funding through grants, partnerships, contracts, and reimbursement. This investment helps build an organization that can continue serving survivors long after the founding campaign closes.

"As a survivor myself, I know firsthand how life-changing it is when someone believes in your future. Thank you for helping create opportunities for healing and hope and for helping create brighter futures."

— Marlyn, Aurora Survivor Mentor
