The 5th Annual Flood With Love Music Festival returns on Saturday, July 25 at the brand new 4,500-capacity Gatton Park Amphitheater, bringing together music, community, and purpose for a cause that continues to impact countless Kentuckians.

This year, our non-profit, PEAK (Powering the Economy through Arts in Kentucky), is proud to partner with Kentucky 811 to launch the Kentucky Disaster Relief Fund. In recent years, flooding and tornadoes have become an all too common reality across the Commonwealth. Since 2022 alone, Kentucky has faced eight federal disaster declarations, resulting in devastating loss of life, widespread displacement, and billions of dollars in damage. The need for immediate, flexible support in the aftermath of these events has never been greater.

That is why half of all proceeds from this year’s festival will go directly into the Kentucky Disaster Relief Fund, created to respond quickly when the next disaster strikes. These funds will be used where they are needed most, providing food, clothing, temporary shelter and lodging, emergency supplies, generators, and even meals for the volunteers and operators working tirelessly on the ground. It is about showing up in real time, for real people, when it matters most.

The inspiration for this effort grew out of the documentary Long Road To Recovery, a collaboration between Black Mountain Studios and Kentucky 811. What began as an educational disaster response video evolved into something much deeper, a story of resilience, humanity, and hope in the face of unimaginable loss. At the heart of that story was music, including the hauntingly beautiful song “Old Driveways” by Jeremy Marshall and Lance Rogers. Its message reminds us that even in the wake of destruction, something meaningful, even beautiful, can emerge.

That belief is what drives Flood With Love. Music has the power to bring people together, to heal, and to inspire action. This festival is more than just a day of great performances, it is a way to turn that inspiration into tangible impact for communities across Kentucky.
