Beau’s Buds, Moonbow Productions and the city of Versailles have partnered for the third annual Flood with Love charity benefit for the Hindman Settlement School and Freedom Tiny Homes.

About the festival:

This year we are excited to bring a two-day event to the brand-new Versailles Downtown Market and Entertainment District (105 Rose Hill Ave. Versailles, KY) on August 23^rd, 5-10 pm and 24^{th ,}3-10pm, featuring an incredible line up of live music, including a performance by the Settlement Schools’s Pick and Bow students, local artists and vendors, food trucks, spirits, a family fun zone, raffles, auctions, and more!

About The School:

The Hindman Settlement School, located in Knot County, has a “mission to provide education and service opportunities for people of the mountains, while keeping them mindful of their heritage”. The Settlement’s major work today includes education and service programs that address critical educational needs of the region’s youth, promote cultural awareness, and address emerging issues of health and food insecurity through increased access to nutritious, locally-grown foods. Two years ago, when floods swept through 14 Eastern Kentucky counties, the Hindman Settlement School was all but destroyed. Moonbow Productions along with Rolling Oven and Mash Grass stepped into action and organized the first Flood with Love event in just over a week. Since then, the event has become a growing collaboration of local musicians, artists, and businesses working to raise money to keep the programs at the Hindman School funded.

About Freedom Tiny Homes:

Freedom Tiny Homes is a non-profit organization in Versailles Ky. It was created to assist our Kentucky neighbors by purchasing and donating tiny homes for the benefit of people left homeless as a result of human-induced or natural disaster. Freedom Tiny Homes KY | Versailles KY | Facebook
