Each year, when I return home to Jamaica, I am reminded of the tremendous potential of the children at Smithville Primary School—the very school I attended before immigrating to the United States. During a recent visit, conversations with the principal revealed the urgent need for educational supplies, classroom resources, and other essentials that will help students thrive.

To honor the life and legacy of my beloved grandmother, Florence "Mama" Richardson, our family has established the Florence "Mama" Richardson Foundation Fund in partnership with Cymbal of Charity. Mama devoted her life to serving her family and community, and this initiative reflects the compassion, generosity, and unwavering commitment she showed to others.
