We're seeking a Long Term Cat Tower Solution for Kitties Who Are Tough On Cat Tree Furniture at FOCA

We love our cats at FOCA but they really do a number on the furniture at the shelter but we think we've found a solution.

And that's where you can help!

We're fundraising to purchase products from Kuranda! Typical cat towers are wonderful for households with a few cats.

However, the shelter has quite a bit more than a few cats. So that means conventional cat towers don't last as long under FOCA kitty paws. We can continue to buy new cat trees, or hope we get donations that are usable, but that's not practical. What we need is something that might cost a little more but lasts a lot longer so we're getting more for the funds you donate.

**Just so there are no surprises, our fundraising software Givebutter asks for a donation at checkout but you can turn it off. You'll see the following info in your cart at checkout: 'An optional tip allows FRIENDS OF COMPANION ANIMALS to use Givebutter's 100% free fundraising platform and keeps it running for all nonprofits. Thank you! ' To avoid this, change the percentage amount to 'other' and then put in '0' as the amount to avoid this charge. If you can make a donation of some kind to Givebutter that's great since it's been a dependable program, but if not, that's okay too.

We're fundraising for the amount it would cost for us to get these eight (8) cat towers for our open roaming areas at the shelter (six will be 8 tier as pictured below and two will be 5 tier). That's why the amount listed here is $2098. If we can earn more that's great! But we're aiming to make the shelter a little brighter and safer for the kitties.

ABOUT US: Friends of Companion Animals Feline Rescue & Adoption Center is a 501c3 nonprofit animal welfare organization is a cats only shelter that has been preventing unwanted feline litters from growing up on the streets or entering the already overcrowded animal shelters in Monroe County since 2011. Friends of Companion Animals encourages the spaying/neutering of companion animals and conducts trap-neuter-release in public places where free roaming cats are prevalent as volunteers permit. In the last two years alone they've adopted out over 1000 stray and surrendered cats and kittens into forever homes.
