Hoarding situations are intense for everyone - the home owners, the volunteers and especially the felines. These cats need care and more than just a warm place to sleep and a full belly. Quite often they come sickly and in need of medications, special food, and in extreme cases surgery that goes beyond the typical spay and neuter. As for the criminal justice system, even if they did prosecute offenders it still doesn't get the supplies we need ASAP. Abuse court case can go on weeks, months or even years. Even then, collecting an award happens slim to none in most cases.

Bottom line... Hoarded felines usually costs us at least twice as much as our adoption fees. But here's where folks like you can help us 'breaking even' so to speak...
