15 Years of Connecting Our Community with Fresh Food! 🎉

It's our birthday, and YOU'RE the reason we're celebrating! 🎉

Since 2011, FoodChain has been connecting our community with fresh food. What started with an aquaponics farm and a big idea has grown into something much bigger—a place where food brings people together, creates opportunities, and strengthens our local food system.

Over the past 15 years, we've grown, adapted, and found new ways to meet the needs of our neighbors. From preparing fresh meals and teaching kids where their food comes from to training the next generation of food leaders and opening the Neighborhood Green Grocery, our work has always been rooted in one simple belief: everyone deserves access to fresh food and the opportunities that come with it.

And we couldn't have done it without YOU!

Look what we've accomplished together:

🎓 88,700 hours of education connecting youth and adults to food, farming, cooking, and career opportunities.

🙌 13,173 volunteers contributing 34,371 hours to help nourish our community.

🐟 An aquaponics farm growing fresh food, inspiring curiosity, and creating hands-on learning opportunities.

🥕 Millions of connections to fresh food through community meals, grocery distribution, and food access programs.

🛒 A brand-new Neighborhood Green Grocery bringing Kentucky-grown foods, local businesses, and affordable groceries right into our neighborhood.

Our Birthday Wish? Keep Growing Together.

We're proud of what we've built over the past 15 years, but we're even more excited about what's ahead.

Your birthday gift supports the whole FoodChain—from the farm to the kitchen, from the classroom to the grocery, and everywhere in between.

It helps us stay flexible, respond to emerging community needs, invest in our people, and continue building a local food system that works for everyone.
