Sara Haviland, Assistant Dean of Student Success at Aquinas College, will provide invaluable insights and guidance to help students navigate the challenges of their freshman year. This engaging and informative two-hour skills workshop will take place at Forest Hills Northern High School and will cover the following topics:

Exploring ways to adapt to college expectations
Implementing effective time management techniques
Approaches for test preparation and stress management
Setting and achieving academic goals
Developing reading strategies for complex texts
Enhancing note-taking skills

Who is this for? Graduated Seniors - Class of 2026

When: Thursday, August 6, 2026
• Evening Session: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Where: Forest Hills Northern High School

Cost: $50 *

Students should:

Ensure they are well-fed, rested, and hydrated.
Bring a notebook or lined paper along with pencils or pens.
Keep mobile phones silenced and stored away during the workshop.
Have a water bottle handy.

There is a limit of 18 students per session. No-shows will not be refunded. All students on the waiting list who do not secure a seat will receive a full refund.
