Liberty Sanctuary is a leading equine nonprofit dedicated to protecting America’s most vulnerable horses and banning the slaughter of our cherished American equines. We rescue equines from the slaughter pipeline and offer comprehensive care, training, and adoption programs. Liberty is also home to more wild horses than any sanctuary in Utah. We offer horsemanship clinics to the public and working student opportunities. Additionally, we partner to offer healing to those with mental health challenges including veterans with PTSD, patients recovering from substance abuse, people with disabilities and domestic violence survivors.
