Help us build something our whole community can share.

Across Yavapai County, nonprofits, youth programs, educators, families, and community groups face many of the same challenges: affordable space is limited, educational and creative materials can be expensive, and opportunities to learn, collaborate, and share resources are often scattered throughout the community.

Yavapai Community Resource Center (YCRC) is working to change that.

YCRC is creating a shared community hub where people and organizations can access the space, resources, educational opportunities, and connections they need to serve our community more effectively.

What YCRC will provide

Shared Meeting & Program Space
Accessible space for nonprofit meetings, youth activities, workshops, classes, trainings, and community programs.

Community Resource Exchange
A donation-based system that keeps useful creative, educational, classroom, curriculum, STEM, office, and program materials in circulation and makes them available to others who can use them.

Educational Programming
Workshops, classes, demonstrations, and skill-sharing opportunities offered by YCRC, community members, and partner organizations.

Community Collaboration
A central place where nonprofits, educators, businesses, volunteers, families, and community members can connect, share resources, and work together.

This direction is fully consistent with YCRC's mission, which includes shared resources, meeting space, educational opportunities, and collaborative support. YCRC Summary

What your support helps build

Instead of only asking people to “donate to YCRC,” I would show them tangible examples:

Your gift can help provide things like:

$50–$100 — storage bins, organizers, program materials, and everyday Resource Exchange supplies
$250 — sorting equipment, carts, classroom/program supplies, or part of a shelving unit
$500 — shelving, tables, technology, or equipment
$1,000 — significant Resource Exchange infrastructure, intake equipment, or program setup
$1,200 — projector and screen for workshops and trainings
$2,400 — approximately 20 tables for meetings, classes, and programs
$3,000 — approximately 150 chairs for community gatherings and educational programming
$6,000 — approximately 30 heavy-duty shelving units for the Resource Exchange

Those estimates come directly from your current startup planning.

Become a Foundational Sponsor

Businesses, organizations, families, and individuals who make significant contributions during YCRC's launch can become part of our founding story.

Foundational Sponsors will be permanently recognized on a planned Foundational Sponsor Wall at YCRC.

Only 50 Foundational Sponsor positions are planned:

2 Cornerstone Sponsors — $25,000+
4 Legacy Sponsors — $10,000+
8 Foundation Sponsors — $5,000+
12 Community Builders — $2,500+
24 Founding Partners — $1,000+

Foundational sponsorship is a one-time launch contribution. Permanent recognition is separate from YCRC's ongoing annual sponsorship program.

One gift can support many organizations.

YCRC is not being created for one nonprofit, one school, or one program.

It is being built as shared community infrastructure.

A table purchased for YCRC can be used by a homeschool class in the morning, a nonprofit training in the afternoon, and a youth organization in the evening.

A donated box of supplies can become art materials for one group, classroom resources for an educator, or hands-on learning materials for a family.

A workshop can give dozens of people access to knowledge, skills, and connections they did not have before.

When you help build YCRC, your support keeps working throughout the community.

Help us open the doors.

Whether you give $10, sponsor an entire project, donate needed equipment, or become one of YCRC's 50 Foundational Sponsors, you are helping create a resource that can serve our community for years to come.
