SEND was founded in 1983 through the merger of neighborhood organizations working to revitalize southeast Indianapolis after decades of disinvestment. Since then, SEND has invested more than $40 million in affordable housing, commercial revitalization, small business support, and public space improvements, including the iconic Fountain Square fountains and plaza.

As the steward of the Fountain Square fountains, SEND is responsible for their ongoing operation and maintenance. To help offset these costs, SEND launched Fountain Fright Night, an annual Halloween fundraiser celebrating the creativity and spirit of the neighborhood. Join us on Saturday, October 31, at 8:00 pm for an evening of costumes, entertainment, and community while supporting one of Fountain Square's most recognizable landmarks. Can't attend?
