The Four Rightly Guided Caliphs

The generation that followed the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ faced the extraordinary responsibility of preserving his teachings, leading the Muslim community, and navigating new challenges after his passing.

This 12-week course introduces students to the lives and legacies of the Four Rightly Guided Caliphs: Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, Umar ibn al-Khattab, Uthman ibn Affan, and Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with them all.

Through their lives, students will encounter different models of leadership, sacrifice, courage, scholarship, service, and devotion to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. The course will provide an opportunity to better understand this formative period of Islamic history while reflecting on the enduring lessons these remarkable Companions offer Muslims today.
