At Family Promise of Mid Michigan, we are dedicated to helping families facing homelessness achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response. Serving Genesee and Lapeer counties, we offer a comprehensive range of services, including prevention, shelter diversion, transitional housing, case management, and supportive programs designed to keep families together and restore stability.

Our Programs:

Shared Housing Intervention Program (SHIP): In collaboration with the GISD McKinney-Vento Program, SHIP assists families with children who are doubled-up, couch surfing, or in other precarious housing situations. Families are referred by school liaisons and receive regular support from a SHIP Case Manager to navigate challenges and work toward stable housing. FPMMMI
Bright Futures: This initiative supports children in our programs by providing tutoring, meals, mentorship, and safe spaces to learn and grow, ensuring they have the resources needed for a brighter future.
