Attorneys with Swag (AWS) began with a simple but powerful idea — to make the law accessible, relatable, and rooted in culture. What started as a podcast and creative project has grown into a movement to make New York City the most legally empowered city in the world.

Through videos, music, workshops, and community events, AWS connects people to the knowledge and confidence they need to navigate the legal system. Our platform turns law into language people can actually use — helping individuals protect their rights, advocate for themselves, and understand the systems that shape their lives.

Now, we’re entering our next chapter:

⚖️ Building the new Attorneys with Swag website, a digital home where anyone can learn, engage, and take action.
🎓 Expanding the Learning Center, offering free CLEs for attorneys through culturally grounded, community-centered content.
🏛️ Developing the Legal Learning Hub, a physical space for workshops, consultations, and live events — bringing legal education directly into the neighborhoods that need it most.

Our first-ever Friendsgiving with Swag marked a major milestone — celebrating how far we’ve come and rallying support for what’s next. As we move toward Giving Tuesday (Dec 2) and beyond, we’re continuing to build a platform where legal knowledge belongs to everyone.
