Stephen A. Tillett is a pastor, veteran, author, and community leader dedicated to building a more just and compassionate Maryland. A retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and former Senior IMA Chaplain at Arlington National Cemetery, he also served at the Pentagon following 9/11 and as a volunteer Chaplain for the University of Maryland Terrapins football team.

He has pastored Asbury Broadneck United Methodist Church in Annapolis for over 20 years and is a Life Member of both the NAACP and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Stephen has led organizations such as the Anne Arundel County NAACP, Anne Arundel Connecting Together (ACT), and the Maryland Poor People’s Campaign. He has also served on key county and city committees advancing equity, education, and public safety.

Pastor T is running for the Maryland State Senate in District 32 to expand healthcare access, strengthen schools, and removing obstacles that prevent every family from being able to thrive. His campaign also focuses on workforce development—creating pathways for youth to gain the skills and training needed to thrive in tomorrow’s economy.
