We are The CommUNITY ATL Choir, a movement built on the belief that music has the power to heal, unite, and transform lives.

What started as a small gathering of singers seeking connection has grown into a thriving community of creatives who support one another through music, mentorship, personal development, and authentic relationships. Through our pop-up performances, live events, and outreach efforts, we've impacted thousands of people by creating a safe haven where artists can belong, grow, and be seen.

Why We're Raising $75,000

When people see The CommUNITY ATL Choir on stage, they see the performance. What they don't see are the sacrifices being made behind the scenes by the incredible individuals who make this journey possible.

Many of our choir members are working professionals, parents, caregivers, entrepreneurs, students, and everyday people who have committed themselves to something bigger than themselves. As we prepare for the next stage of our America's Got Talent journey, many members may be required to spend extended periods away from home, often for 10 days or more at a time.

While some travel-related expenses may be covered, there are many financial burdens that remain on the shoulders of our members and leadership team.

Lost Wages & Missed Work Opportunities

Many members must take unpaid time off work or temporarily pause their businesses and side hustles in order to attend rehearsals, travel commitments, filming schedules, and production requirements.

Childcare Support

Several members are parents who must secure additional childcare while they are away pursuing this opportunity. These costs can quickly become overwhelming for working families.

Family Support Expenses

Being away from home often means arranging support for spouses, children, elderly parents, and family members who rely on them daily.

Pet Care & Boarding

Many choir members are pet owners who must arrange boarding, pet sitting, or additional care while traveling for extended periods.

Transportation & Local Travel

Even when major travel is provided, members often incur expenses for airport transportation, rideshares, parking, meals, and other local travel needs before and during the trip.

Meals & Daily Living Expenses

Extended travel periods create additional out-of-pocket expenses for meals, incidentals, and daily necessities that can add up quickly.

Rehearsal & Preparation Costs

Preparing for a national stage requires extensive rehearsals, coaching, wardrobe coordination, performance preparation, and logistical planning.

Wardrobe & Performance Readiness

Professional appearances require members to maintain a polished and cohesive presentation that reflects the excellence of our organization and our city.

Administrative & Organizational Support

As a large ensemble, coordinating travel, communication, scheduling, member support, media obligations, and performance logistics requires significant behind-the-scenes effort and resources.
