Book Bank’s existing work centers on literacy and practical support for people facing hunger, homelessness and abuse. Its website describes food support, clothing and hygiene outreach, and art programming connected to community service in Atlanta and New York. These existing programs provide context for the initiative. New programs connected to Lincoln Road require their own confirmed scope and delivery arrangements.

Planning with transparency.

The project’s giving page describes approximately $800,000 for initial transit-relocation mobilization, $4–6 million for a broader pedestrian phase, and approximately $28 million for the wider public-place vision. These are proposed planning estimates, not approved budgets, amounts to add together, a verified funding gap or a fixed campaign target. The initial estimate does not fund complete street closure.

Delivery depends on confirmed scope, budgets, partner agreements and required agency approvals. A donation supports the initiative’s development; it does not guarantee a particular construction phase, completion date or project outcome. Charitable participation does not provide equity or a promised financial return.
