Seed Your Future is a national movement dedicated to inspiring and cultivating the next generation of passionate plant professionals. Our mission is to engage youth and individuals at all life stages, creating a positive perception of the horticulture industry while building a strong pipeline of future talent.

Your gift can reach far beyond one classroom.

It costs Seed Your Future just $8.50 to reach one teacher with free horticulture career resources and Seed to STEM lessons.

But we’re not trying to reach just one teacher. We want to reach hundreds of educators and thousands of students who may have never considered a future in horticulture.

See how your gift can grow:

$85 can help reach 10 teachers (approximately 350 students)

$250 can help reach nearly 30 teachers (approximately 1000 students)

$500 can help reach nearly 60 teachers (approximately 2000 students)

$1,000 can help reach more than 115 teachers (approximately 4000+ students!)

And every teacher has the potential to introduce an entire classroom of students to careers they may never have known existed.

That’s the ripple effect.

One teacher can inspire dozens of students. Those students can discover careers in science, technology, design, business, production, sustainability, and more. And those students can become the future workforce our industry needs.

We need them. And we need you to help us reach them.

Your support helps Seed Your Future provide:

167 career profiles showcasing the diversity of horticulture careers
50+ diverse high school lessons connecting classroom learning to real careers
The Plant Power Career Quiz helping students discover where they fit
30 ready-to-use classroom tools and resources to easily integrate career conversations
Internship and scholarship opportunities
Career videos and real industry stories
Green Career Week, connecting industry professionals directly with future talent

Don’t just reach one teacher. Help us reach a whole network of classrooms.

Every gift expands our reach, strengthens the future workforce, and helps more young people see a future for themselves in horticulture.

Help us grow the next generation.

Why Now?

In 2024, we celebrated our 10th anniversary – a milestone that showed just how far we’ve come. But if we want to be here for the next 10 years, we must continue to grow with the needs of students and the industry.

Inspire a new generation of green-collar professionals
Empower students to discover rewarding, purpose-driven careers in horticulture.
Strengthen the horticulture industry
Build a thriving, skilled workforce ready to meet the needs of a growing green economy.
Spark innovation across the industry
Encourage new ideas, technologies, and solutions that keep horticulture vibrant and forward-thinking.
Bridge passion and profession
Turn curiosity about plants into real-world career pathways that make lasting impact.

But to do it, we must raise $50,000 by December 31.
