Since the pandemic, vinyl culture has blossomed in San Diego. We have multiple listening lounges where you can hear vinyl on HiFi sound systems. Many other venues book vinyl DJ nights, and there are record stores scattered across the county.

We want to talk about — and celebrate — this growing scene with you at our next Daylight Culture Club on Nov. 15 at Mujeres Brew House. We'll have panels talking about digging, collecting and spinning, a record fair and DJs rocking the 1s and 2s throughout the day.

Daylight San Diego members get special perks at all of our events. This time, that includes early access to the record fair to start digging and a discount on a limited edition record tote designed by Ohmega Watts. You can join one of our three paid tiers today to make sure you don't miss out on the discount!

Schedule:

12 p.m. Digging starts for Daylight San Diego members
1 p.m. Record Fair opens for the public
1:30 p.m. Digging and Collecting Panel
3:30 p.m. DJing and Listening Lounges Panel
5:30 p.m. Local Record Stores Panel
8 p.m. Event ends

In between, we’ll have local vinyl DJs spinning, and we’ll have a record fair going all day for your digging pleasure.

If you're interested in being a part of the event as a vendor, sponsor or volunteer, email kate@daylightsandiego.org.
