Aged‑out foster youth will face some of the highest risks of homelessness, poverty, unemployment and untreated mental‑health challenges. In direct response to this gap, Josephine's House will provide:

Transitional housing
Mental‑health counseling
Case management
Career readiness
Basic life‑skills training
Community support

Our goal is to raise $300,000 for the renovation of the on-site building that will provide housing for young men who have aged out of the system. We would need to raise an additional $100,000 for the first year of operations. In addition, we will continue to offer programs for transition age foster adults, even if our facility reaches full capacity. We anticipate expanding to a second location dedicated to an all-female home. With ongoing support, we will ensure foster youth transitioning out of foster care have a chance to experience a successful, independent life.
