The inaugural First Storyteller’s Festival kicks off the first week of October! This annual event brings together Indigenous theatre makers from across Turtle Island to develop works for the stage by Native artists. Putting on a festival of this calibre requires significant funding to support Creative Nation's core value of always paying artist's fairly or not doing the project at all.

During the festival, audience members will attend panels, staged readings and workshop productions of new plays, to participate in the important process of developing new works. You can find out more and purchase tickets here. The festival was conceived by Creative Nations, an all Indigenous led artists collective, founded at The Dairy Arts Center in Boulder, CO.
