On Saturday, October 17, thousands of people will pour into Fayetteville for Bridge Day. Most of them will have no idea that the National Park Service has a tentative demolition date of November 2026 for historic structures in Thurmond and Dun Glen. We're going to tell them.

Preservation Thurmond's volunteers will be out in the crowd wearing our Demolition Disruptor shirts and starting conversations. A shirt is a walking billboard, and Bridge Day is the one day of the year when the whole region is in one place.

This campaign pays for that: the shirts, the printed handouts and the signs that turn a curious glance into a signature, a share or a gift. We are an all-volunteer organization, so every dollar goes into materials people can hold in their hands.

A gift here, whether it's $15 or $250, puts another voice on the street and another story in front of someone who hasn't heard it yet. Help us make Thurmond impossible to ignore.
