At West Mecklenburg High School, students in the NAF Academy of Hospitality & Tourism are doing more than earning a diploma. They are building professional confidence, real-world experience and career pathways before they ever cross the graduation stage.

Through internships, stipends, certifications, and industry exposure, these students are discovering what is possible for their futures. And they are proving that when a door opens, they walk through it.

Our students' needs don't follow a calendar. A certification exam is due in October. A transportation stipend makes the difference in November. Interview attire for the internship opportunity lands a job in May — and we need to be ready.
