The Vision

At Boon Agriculture, we are on a mission to alleviate poverty in the most unreached and underserved communities by scaling and diversifying agricultural production.

Our projects include:

☕ Coffee farmers — helping growers move from raw harvests to roasting, branding, and selling locally and globally.
🥬 Leafy greens — increasing access to nutrient-rich foods in rural communities.
🍇 Passion fruit projects — diversifying income for families with high-value crops.
🍄 Women’s Mushroom Empowerment Hubs — creating women-led businesses with steady income.
📘 Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Training — equipping farmers with skills to grow better, safer, and more profitable crops.
🌱 Hemp4Hope — laying the foundation for Africa’s first Hemp Center of Excellence.

All of this work is fueled by boots on the ground: training, traveling, meeting with farmers, moving supplies, and ensuring projects succeed.

Why We Need Your Support

Until now, our annual "operating" costs — over $10,000 — have been covered by our founder. These costs include:

✈️ Travel to and from Uganda - 1 x a year
🚐 Ground transportation & fuel between rural sites
🏠 Lodging & meals during farmer trainings and community stays
📦 Transport of seeds, inputs, and equipment
🤝 On-the-ground coordination with ministries, partners, and local leaders

As demand for our programs grows, we can no longer carry this burden alone and we would really like to be there more than once a year. By funding these costs, you ensure that Boon can continue to show up — consistently and effectively — for the farmers and communities who depend on us.

$500 → Vehicle Rental and Supply Transport for one week
$1,000 → One week of on-the-ground leadership and project oversight
$2,500 → Travel support for international flights to Uganda
$5,000 → Sustains Boon’s annual coordination costs for one project (accounting fees, driver payment, coffee, mushrooms, passion fruit, leafy greens, or GAP training)
