2025 has been Fareground’s most impactful year yet! We want to take the time to thank you. Whether you are a volunteer, donor, community partner, local farm, or local business, your commitment has enabled us to share nutritious food with families throughout our community.

Due to the SNAP crisis, federal cuts to funding for food programs, and the rising costs of housing and healthcare, we are helping more families than ever. In November 2024, we shared groceries with 699 households. This November, our grocery distributions reached 1,449 households, more than double the prior year!

This holiday season, we’re asking for your help to raise $50,000 to meet the increased need in our community. Our goals for 2026 include:

Increase the number of grocery distributions (monthly at three community sites)
Improve communications so all neighbors know how to get the food they need
Increase staffing: hire a program assistant and make our operations manager full time

Rooted deeply in the community, Fareground has the flexibility to adapt quickly as circumstances change. Our neighbors know they can rely on us, and we rely on supporters like you to make this vital work possible.

To ensure that every family continues to have access to food during this critical time, our goal is to raise $50,000 by December 31.
