Our Community is at a Crossroads

For years, the Northwest Motorcycle Association Foundation (NMAF) has worked to ensure that riders across our region have safe, legal, and sustainable access to the trails we love. However, maintaining these vast networks requires more than just passion; it requires dedicated resources to combat trail erosion, manage land use regulations, and provide safety education for new riders. Without active intervention, we risk losing the very landscapes that define our sport.

This year, we have been able to maintain one mile of single-track for an impressive $2,300 thanks to our amazing volunteer base, professional crews, and partnerships with other user-groups.

The Need for Stewardship

As outdoor recreation increases, our trail systems face unprecedented pressure. Current limitations in funding often mean that essential maintenance is deferred, leading to permanent trail closures. To prevent this, we have developed a strategic initiative focused on three core pillars:

Trail Restoration: Utilizing professional equipment to repair damage on high-traffic routes.
Safety and Advocacy: Funding workshops that teach responsible riding and land stewardship.
Legal Defense: Ensuring our community has a seat at the table during land management planning.

How Your Contribution Ensures Progress

Your support on this Giving Tuesday directly funds the boots-on-the-ground work required to keep our forests open. By investing in the Foundation, you are providing the tools and expertise needed to manage thousands of miles of riding terrain. Every dollar helps bridge the gap between government budget shortfalls and the actual cost of land preservation.

Join hundreds of fellow riders who have already stepped up to protect our heritage. With your support, we can reach our goal and ensure that these trails remain open for years to come. We humbly invite you to join us in this investment.
