The Unsaid Project is an anonymous listening exhibition for survivors of sexual assault. People call a private story line and tell their story in their own words, often for the very first time. Their voices are played in a quiet gallery, one phone at a time, so others know they are not alone.

Entry is always free. Your donation builds this: the story line, the exhibition, and the mission to carry it from city to city. You're funding the first time a survivor feels truly heard.

Where your money goes

Every gift goes directly toward building The Unsaid Project: the story line where survivors share their voices, the exhibition that lets others hear them, and bringing it from city to city so no survivor ever feels alone. You're not just funding an art show. You're funding a place where survivors are finally believed.

Suggested giving amounts

$25 — Helps keep the story line open for a week, so a survivor can call and share her voice any time, day or night.
$50 — Funds one acrylic plaque, carrying a survivor's words in the gallery for others to read.
$100 — Sponsors one phone station for a visitor to sit, lift the receiver, and truly listen.
$250 — Fills the room with flowers and the handwritten notes wall, the small touches that make survivor feel held.
$500 — Brings a full station to life: the phone, the voice, and everything that lets one story be heard.
$1,000 — Helps carry The Unsaid Project to its first city, turning an empty room into a place of healing.

Transparency line

The Unsaid Project is a newly launched initiative and is in the process of being a registered nonprofit, so donations are not currently tax-deductible. One hundred percent of what you give goes toward making this exhibition real.

Thank you. Truly.

Because of you, a survivor somewhere will pick up a phone, share what they have carried alone, and finally be heard. That's what you just made possible.

The Unsaid Project exists for every survivor who was never asked, never believed, or never felt safe enough to speak. You just told them their story matters.

With gratitude, The Unsaid Project
