Our Canal is at a Crossroad

For over five years, AquaTerra Foundation dba Clear Lakes Foundation, Inc. has served as a primary guardian of our canal #1. Water is the lifeblood of our community, yet it remains under constant threat from pollution, evasive aquatic weeds and overgrown landscape impeding navigation on the canal. Our mission is to advance environmental stewardship through rigorous research, education, and direct community restoration. To sustain this community for the next generation, we must act with scientific precision and community resolve.

The Need for Scientific Action

Our current research initiatives and restoration projects face significant logistical limitations. Data shows that localized water quality can fluctuate by as much as 40 percent in a single season without proper monitoring and intervention. To expand our reach, we require dedicated funding to scale our most critical programs. Without this investment, vital data points regarding our local watersheds may go uncollected, delaying essential restoration efforts.

Our Strategic Vision

We have developed a comprehensive plan to strengthen our environmental impact. This campaign focuses on three core pillars:

Expanded Research: Deploying advanced equipment to track and improve water purity across current and new local sites.
Educational Outreach: Launching educational opportunities to train community volunteers in restoration techniques.
Habitat Restoration: Directly rehabilitating water and land ecosystems to prevent evasive aquatic weed growth and overgrown landscapes impeding canal navigation.
