Help Sedona Dance Project raise $10,000 to create more dance productions and artistic opportunities in our community

For more than five years, Sedona Dance Project has brought people together through dance and artistic productions made here in our community.

We have presented performances at Tlaquepaque and for the City of Sedona, and brought dance to local music and community festivals. Our annual dance festival at the Sedona Performing Arts Center welcomes dance companies from across Arizona to share their work with Sedona audiences.

Our productions are created through collaboration. We bring together community dancers, choreographers, musicians, costume artists, makeup artists, and other creatives to make performances and movement together. In that process, people build friendships, encourage one another, and find connection and support.

We believe it matters to have opportunities to create dance in Sedona—with our community and for our community.

Help us continue creating together

We were counting on a $10,000 grant to help fund our Spring Dance Festival. When that funding unexpectedly fell through, we faced a difficult choice: scale back our plans or invite our community to help sustain this work.

We’re raising $10,000 to continue creating and presenting dance productions in Sedona. This includes our annual festival, collaborations with artists, and our efforts to bring Sister Moses, a production about Harriet Tubman, to our community.

Productions take many hours of work behind the scenes. Organizers and community members contribute substantial time, often without pay, to bring these projects to life. Funding also helps cover essential costs such as marketing and production support, so the work does not depend so heavily on unpaid labor.

Invest in dance in Sedona

When you give, you help create a platform for local people to take part in artistic productions, for artists to share their gifts, and for our community to connect through creating and experiencing dance.

Whether you contribute $10, $50, $100, or more, your gift helps Sedona Dance Project continue this work and support the people and resources it takes to make it possible.

Join us in supporting the art of dance in Sedona.

With gratitude,

The Sedona Dance Project Team
