Preserving the Golden Age of Railroading

For decades, the railroad served as the backbone of industry and community life not only in America but around the world. NEW O'Gauge Train Museum exists because we believe that understanding this history is vital.

Our mission is to inspire a passion to learn & preserve railroading history though hands-on model train layouts, resources, workshops & community outreach events that foster curiosity, creativity, learning life skills, teamwork & fun. However, maintaining intricate hands-on layouts and hosting educational programs requires significant resources.

Our Vision for the Future

With your support, we will continue to build comprehensive educational resources, including:

Four primary hands-on layouts, as well as smaller ever-changing focus areas;
Develop educational hands-on layouts to facilitate training opportunities that stimulate curiosity;
Maintain video room to provide historical, railroad and around-the-world train experiences;
Obtain ever-changing historical artifacts to provide authentic sensory experiences for visitors.
