Mental Health Resources are Shrinking

Due to changes at the federal and state level, mental health resources are shrinking. Safety nets and resources that were once there are diminishing rapidly and it is hitting multiple marginalized communities first, as it always does. At Disruptive Therapy Collective, we are aiming to fill that gap, while simultaneously knowing that it is going to take us and many more to step up to fill the need. It requires a dedicated space where inclusive care and relational practice meet to support our BIPOC, LGBT+, and neurodivergent children and families. To meet this need, we are launching a critical fundraising initiative to expand our service capacity and practitioner support systems.

The Need for Expansion

Current data indicates that many individuals seeking inclusive care face significant barriers, ranging from financial constraints to a lack of specialized practitioners. At Disruptive Therapy Collective, we've provided over 7,800 sessions since 2023, and our current operations are at 100 percent capacity. We need to expand access to ensure our communities get the support they need.
