What a challenging year it has been! Banned from their education in Afghanistan, and now banned from coming to the United States, our 800 indomitable students have forged ahead to find new opportunities. This, now, as they step bravely into 2026, is the moment. Our moment to invest in their future.

Start with the mobile phone, our students’ window to the world.

Open that window with "data", the phone upgrade necessary for internet connection.

Enhance students’ educational capacity with English and university courses, all taught without charge by volunteer professors and volunteer teaching assistants from across the globe.

Finally, admit the most qualified students to an online, American-accredited degree program where they can finish their education, enter their chosen profession, and stand ready to rebuild their country.

Our students have the phones. We have the professors. And the degree program is underway. What do we still need?

The data. That’s where you come in. For just $240, you can connect an amazing Afghan woman to AFSO’s offerings for a full year. For $720 a year, you can fund a student’s full-time college journey.

Take a look at responses from 600 students this year!

"This opportunity", writes one of the students beginning full-time studies this fall, “represents a belief that knowledge must lead to action. That education must be rooted in humanity, creativity, and justice. In AFSO’s mission, I see a reflection of everything I have tried to become. A thinker. A writer. A problem-solver. And a global citizen who never forgets where she came from.”

Let’s all remember where we came from. Invest in the future of women who are going places. #FundHerFuture
