On Thursday 9/10 or Friday 9/11, a large number of tools were stolen from the Bountiful Cities Tool Library at 408 Pearson Drive. We lost leaf blowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, EGO batteries and chargers, a Skilsaw, miter saw, drill bits, screws, and many other tools we rely on every day.

We’ve been talking with our immediate neighbors, but unfortunately no one saw anything that can help us identify what happened. If you have any information or clues about the theft, please be in touch with us.

The Tool Library is an important part of our work. These tools are used to maintain community and school gardens, grow food, teach gardening skills, and help our neighbors grow food in their own communities. The food grown through this work is shared at our free Share Markets and through our public school programs.

Bountiful Cities is a local nonprofit working toward long-term food security by growing food, building community, and sharing the skills and resources people need to grow food themselves.
