The Future Arts Way transforms downtown Seattle into a 2.5-mile interactive canvas. By weaving Coast Salish ethnobotanical history, Afrofuturism, and digital innovation right into our streets, we connect people, support local businesses, and re-enchant the city.

But keeping an ambitious, free public art experience of this scale running requires community backing.

📈 Our Current Campaign Progress

Future Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Because of the incredible early backing from our foundational partners, we have already locked in $159,000 (via milestones of $100k, $25k, $20k, and $14k).

Now, we just need to cross the finish line to fully unlock our summer experiences.

$6,000 | Sidewalk Vinyl Damage Fund
To proactively replace, repair, and maintain the physical, weather-proof sidewalk QR launchpads across our 35+ small business partners over a high-traffic summer.
$6,000 | Technology Upkeep & Artist Fees
Powering real-time web-AR server hosting, rapid tech troubleshooting, and ongoing stipends for our digital creators and operations.
$5,000 | Documentary Film + Photography
Capturing the community's interactions, archiving the Coast Salish and Afrofuturist narratives, and building our visual legacy.
$5,000 | Office Space & Tour Storage
Securing the physical footprint downtown needed to store tour gear, run daily operations, and anchor our trail guides for 2026.
$4,000 | Community Programming & Workshops
Funding free, open-to-the-public weekend activations and youth-focused augmented reality and other related to our Other Earth Theme workshops.
$3,000 | ASL & Accessibility Fees
Providing accessibility support such as professional American Sign Language interpreters and additional accessibility services so the AR tours are fully inclusive.
$3,000 | Equipment Rental Program
Supplying loaner devices, power banks, and tech accessories so anyone can experience the trail, regardless of what phone they carry.
