The Latino Mental Health Association of New Jersey launched its first-ever scholarship program in 2024 and, in 2025, awarded scholarships to two outstanding graduate students pursuing careers in mental health. Building on that momentum, the Futuro Fund was formally established in 2025 to sustain and expand this vital investment in the future of culturally responsive mental health care.
