By donating to the Carbon Literacy Scholarship Fund, you will remove the financial barrier between a climate justice learner and a Carbon Literacy certificate that can magnify their influence and impact.

Your support will give someone the opportunity to earn a globally-recognized Carbon Literacy certificate without the burden of the $295 course fee. To earn a certificate in Carbon Literacy, each learner must:

demonstrate they understand the most important changes we need to make as a society to reach zero carbon,
commit to at least one significant, new action within their individual control to reduce harmful emissions, and
commit to at least one significant, new action involving other people to reduce emissions in their workplace, community, or place of education.

In other words, each certificate earned is linked to actionable community-led decarbonization work so you know your donation is supporting real impact.

How You Can Support Access to High-Quality Climate Education

A donation of any amount will directly support Carbon Literacy learners. However, we encourage you to sponsor one or more participant with a one-time donation of $295 each. If you'd like to spread out your sponsorship, a monthly donation of $25 will support one participant each year!

Sponsor a cohort of 10 and be invited to spend 30 minutes with the group to share your climate story and get to know your sponsored climate justice changemakers.
