In today's digital age, when screens compete for our every morsel of attention, live performance offers a unique power. This is not our opinion but neuroscience. Live music as a ‘whole brain experience,’ in community, must not fade. To earn its place in our winnowing bandwidth, classical music in particular must evolve with storytelling innovation.

At Concert Theatre Works, we believe the communal experience of music and theatre is THE critical part of our collapsing social infrastructure in a digital world. We will not convince anyone because it’s right - we will convince people who can’t look away. Our shows must be magnificent. Next year we will be touring 10 unique, original productions that each demonstrate resilience in the marketplace.

We are showing how ‘concert-theatre’ can redefine classical music for a whole new generation.

We are the only organization in the world dedicated to this hybrid format. Whether you’ve attended Secret Byrd in a crypt in Canterbury, or Peer Gynt at Boston Symphony Hall, you know what we do. Your support will solidify our position as pioneers showing the way for a whole industry to survive.

Imagine seamlessly woven music, drama, and storytelling. This is the essence of our more than 20 productions – an immersive journey that goes beyond the traditional concert hall. This past year alone, tens of thousands of audience members worldwide were captivated by our innovative approach live in concert and via streaming.

Your contribution will directly support the expansion of our team, and the world premieres of two new works later this season: Death of Gesualdo and Copland & Twain. Additionally, it fuels the development of three thrilling new touring productions in 2026-2027 that we will announce shortly.
