As a public charter school, we face a funding reality that differs from traditional public schools. On average, state funding covers only a portion of the actual cost per student, creating an approximate $450 gap per student. This shortfall impacts our ability to sustain the high-quality, environmentally friendly, and student-centered education that defines Learning Gate.

Thanks to your generosity, we’ve completed key upgrades such as purchasing and installing new air conditioners, and adding gutters. Upcoming priorities include roof repairs, plumbing updates, porch and building repairs, and campus beautification and sustainability projects.
