The Anchorage Home Builders Care Endowment is doing a call to action for Michael Droege, owner/broker of Century 21. Michael is a dear friend and longtime member of the homebuilding and real estate industry. Michael is a kind, fun-loving, community-minded individual – you may have even had the pleasure of belting out some karaoke with him or bonding over Stellas. He’s been a source of passion, motivation and empathy to many when it matters most.

In January 2023, Michael suffered a traumatic brain injury while skiing. It will be a long road to full recovery, but in typical Michael fashion he’s working hard to return to his normal vibrant self and we’re all staying positive.

Unfortunately, Michael does not have health insurance and the bills are piling up. He’s been at Providence for over six weeks, with plans of heading to St. Elias when a room opens up. Michael’s recovery will be long and there’s no telling when he can return to work and if he’ll need in-home assistance.

Michael has always been there for us and we’re asking for your help so he can recover from this injury undistracted by the burden of financial stress.
