🎨 I’m Creating a More Creative World—One Brushstroke at a Time
Hi, my name is Jasmine Hall, and I’m a high school senior who’s excited to begin the next chapter of my journey at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I’ll be majoring in Illustration.
Art has always been more than a hobby for me—it’s my voice, my vision, and my way of connecting with the world. I primarily work in mixed media, and I believe deeply in the power of creativity to spark change, inspire others, and shape culture. At FIT, I’m committed to exploring every opportunity this path offers and discovering where my passion for illustration can take me.
I’ve chosen to put my faith in a future where the impact of art is truly recognized and valued. My dream is not only to create meaningful work, but also to inspire the next generation to imagine boldly and create freely.
🐓 More Than an Artist—A Caregiver, Gardener & Book Lover
When I’m not in the studio, I’m often tending to my chickens, gardening, volunteering at my local library, reading, or sewing. These grounding activities bring me peace and keep me connected to nature, community, and creativity in all its forms.
🎓 What This Scholarship Means to Me
Winning the Warrior On The Rise Scholarship means so much to me and my family. It helps ease the financial burden of college and gives me more space to focus on growing as an artist and student.
But even more than that, this scholarship is a symbol of belief—in my talent, in my dreams, and in the power of art to make the world a brighter, more expressive place.
✨ Help Future Creators Like Me Rise
I’m one of 27 Warrior On The Rise scholars this year—a major increase from the 10 scholarships awarded in the past. That’s only possible because of people like you who choose to support young warriors living with Sickle Cell Disease and striving to achieve big things.
By donating to the Warrior On The Rise Scholarship Fund, you’re helping more students like me follow their passions, rise above their challenges, and lead with purpose and creativity.
Thank you for believing in my art—and in the future we’re all helping to create.
