🧠 From Track Manager to Future Neuroscientist—Thanks to This Scholarship
Hi, I’m Jaydon Hamilton, and I’m a high school senior who loves hanging out with friends, playing video games, and diving into niche topics that most people wouldn’t think twice about. I’m always curious, always learning, and I’ve found a real passion for research and discovery.
Throughout high school, I served as a student athletic trainer, and during my senior year, I also took on the role of track manager. That hands-on experience—supporting athletes, learning about the body, and seeing care in action—sparked something in me. It made me realize that I want to go into the medical field and explore the fascinating world of neuroscience.
Now, as I prepare to head to college, my goal is to one day become a neuroscientist, contributing to life-changing research and helping people in ways that really matter.
🎓 What This Scholarship Meant to Me
Winning the Warrior On The Rise Scholarship means everything. It’s not just helping my family with the cost of college—it’s also recognizing the hard work, consistency, and dedication I’ve put into my education over the past four years.
Living with Sickle Cell Disease has made that path even more challenging at times, but it’s also taught me resilience, patience, and drive. This scholarship is a powerful reminder that my efforts haven’t gone unnoticed—and that people believe in where I’m going.
