Kamden Clayborne's Story

🚀 I’m Building a Future Beyond My Circumstances

Hello, my name is Kamden Clayborne, and I’m a goal-oriented student with a big dream—to one day build my own successful company and use it as a platform to make an impact through business, advocacy, or public service.

Living with Sickle Cell Disease has shaped who I am. It’s taught me to never take opportunities for granted and to meet every obstacle with hard work, grit, and determination. Each challenge I’ve faced has only made me more focused on my future and the legacy I want to leave.

Outside of the classroom, I love playing sports, working out to clear my mind, and spending time with my brother—especially when we’re playing video games or just hanging out. Those moments of joy remind me why I keep pushing forward.

🎓 Why This Scholarship Matters

Being awarded the Warrior On The Rise Scholarship would be an incredible honor—not just because of the financial support, but because of what it represents.

It’s a recognition of the effort I’ve poured into my education, my growth, and overcoming the hardships that come with living with a chronic illness. It’s a reminder that I’m not alone—that there are people who see my potential and want to help me succeed.

More than anything, this scholarship helps reinforce what I believe deep down: your circumstances do not define your future. I want to show others going through hard times that they, too, can dream big, work hard, and rise above it all.

🌟 Help the Next Warrior Rise

I’m one of 27 Warrior On The Rise Scholarship recipients this year—nearly triple the number awarded in past years. That leap was only possible because of donors like you, who believe in students like me.

By contributing to the Warrior On The Rise Scholarship Fund, you’re giving hope, encouragement, and opportunity to young warriors ready to rise.

Thank you for believing in me—and in the future we’re building.
