💉 I’m Proud of Where I Come From—And I’m Just Getting Started

Hello, my name is LaVaunte Brock, and I recently graduated from Calhoun High School in Calhoun, Georgia. This fall, I’ll be attending Dalton State College in Dalton, Georgia to begin my journey toward becoming an Anesthesia Assistant—or as many know it, a Nurse Anesthetist.

This career has been my long-term goal, and I’m committed to working hard every step of the way to make it a reality. I’m excited to step into this next chapter, not only for myself, but for my family, my community, and everyone who believes in me.

Being awarded the Warrior On The Rise Scholarship means so much more than just financial support. It’s a recognition of my potential, of the hard work I’ve put in, and the obstacles I’ve already overcome.

It reminds me that there are people out there who believe in my future—and that gives me even more motivation to push forward. Whether it’s pursuing my career in healthcare, continuing my education, or one day giving back to others who are just starting their journey, this scholarship has become a major part of what’s fueling my drive.
