My name is Gabriella. I am 14 years old, in 9th grade, and have been playing the viola for 8 years. This has been a year of new experiences for me—I auditioned for and was accepted into a choir ensemble of nine girls at school, and I joined the swim team. I continue to learn that improving at anything takes consistent practice and perseverance.

Lutheran Summer Music (LSM) has been a wonderful experience for me. I’ve made great friends, taken private viola lessons, participated in an ensemble, and performed in the orchestra. I love playing the viola and singing in choir, and I’m excited to continue growing my skills at LSM this summer, where my brother and I will both be participating.

I am raising money to help my family afford this opportunity. Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival (LSM) is the nation’s premier faith-based music academy for high school students.
