We are so excited to welcome you to the Historic Garden Stroll, benefitting the Leadership Dorchester '24 Class Project "The Azalea Park Children's Discovery Garden".

The event is this Saturday, Sept. 21st from 9:30am-noon. Each beautiful property will feature a unique theme & include small bites, refreshments & live music🎶.

Here are a few helpful details for the morning:

PARKING: Please park on the left side of the Bethany United Methodist Church parking lot, located at:

118 W 3rd S St, Summerville, SC 29483

GUEST CHECK-IN: Guest check-in will be located in Azalea Park near the rear of the Bethany parking lot. You will receive your wristbands and maps at check-in.

WHAT TO WEAR: 🌺Garden Party Attire is suggested! Please wear comfortable shoes as many walkways are made of historic brick.

RESTOOMS: There will be limited restroom availability for this event.

Enjoy a leisurely Saturday morning exploring the gardens of historic Downtown Summerville. The Historic Garden Stroll will kick off with a sneak peek of the forthcoming Azalea Park Children's Garden. The garden, which is a service project led by the 2024 Leadership Dorchester class, will feature a variety of nature, music and art-inspired pieces for current and future generations of children to enjoy. As a garden stroll guest, you will be among the first to see this exciting project, which will be completed in late Fall 2024.

After checking-in at Azalea Park, walk or take the golf cart shuttle to four nearby historic homes of Summerville for an exclusive opportunity to tour their private gardens. Each residential garden will welcome you with live music, a refreshment and small bite as you immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding architecture and gardens.

All ticket proceeds benefit the Leadership Dorchester Class of 2024’s service project, the Azalea Park Children's Garden. Opportunities to donate to specific garden installations will also be available.

This event is rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.
