In North Carolina, 41% of LGBTQ+ youth seriously considered suicide in the past year. LGBTQ+ young people report lower rates of attempting suicide when they have access to affirming spaces and community, spaces like ours. As the only organization of its kind serving five rural counties, every sponsorship below funds exactly that: the doors, the staff, the rides, and the meals that keep ORY open and available for the kids who need us most.
